Trump is a self-publicising “celebrity.” I don’t see the same charisma or chutzpah in other high-profile Republicans. Sadly, people buy people, and the American public bought him. (They can also dump him)

So the orange gibbon is threatening to increase tariffs on countries that don’t agree with his Greenland plans, I don’t like being blackmailed. Higher costs, less availabilty but ultimately he’ll be driven by US commerce and in a dollar driven culture they won’t like it.
