The delta fed by the rivers in California host 3 protected species of fish, at least one of which may not be native. These fish have been allocated a quantity of water which must be legally maintained.
Trump has little or no regard for the environment - he won’t like that and will see it as another way to stab at previous administrations.

Trump is on the offensive, quite literally, following the release of a memoir by former WH aide Omarosa Manigault Newman. She made secret recordings which she is drip-feeding to the press so this could get interesting.
