Still in production and unlike the Moonwatch, not silly money. They even do them in different sizes, for Bigsculls…
Why? Going skiing?
It’s January you cunts
I have two pairs, the 57mm is about right. About $80-90 on amazon/ebay.
Soon be Christmas.
True. But the first 6 miles of yesterday’s walk were pretty much due south. When there is sun it’s very low in January. The bloody freezing wind was more of a problem, to be fair.
Yup, and I’ve only got one mince pie left.
VB
Yes. I dove back from London slowly along the A303 with sun in my eyes
I needed mine (RayBan Aviator, polarised ) yesterday, wicked sun glare on a wet motorway.
I also have an ancient pair of B&L era polarised RayBan terminator style ones, and the modern lenses are nowhere near as good as the old ones.
weirdly my Dad lent me his old Raybans, and I thought the newer polarised ones were better for road glare than the old one.
You were probably driving on newer roads.
I cant bear anything that hooks round the back of my ears which means Oakleys for both my sunnies and normal glasses. Much as I used to love the brand, their quality has dropped off a cliff edge since they were bought by Luxottica which make all the designer shite plus rayban and oakley.
Maui Jim are apparently very good, Persol if you wear a headscarf and holiday on the french riviera.
No idea what I’m going to do when my current pair of bins breaks or my prescription drifts as the current crop of oakleys are poorly made wank.
I am so short sighted I probably cant tell the difference.
Those would go nice with your new hat

it might have - but wire frames, exactly what I am not looking for
