eBay stuff (Part 1)

Decent speakers, £80 is a steal.

Well spotted Mark.

They may just be helping my cassette deck and old technics amp make some music!

If you don’t take them Steve, I will have them for my son.

There’s three sets of smaller ones at fifty a pair as well.

My wife has expressed her genuine concern several times that “there are no wires” with the speakers.

She is alarmed despite my attempts to placate her. Shows how much interest she takes in it all. She likes them, though, which is s start.

Ask Bob - I’m sure he can recommend some wires :+1:

Inb4 rip out crossovers and go digital active.

Go mono.

That way you have enough speakers for two hi-fis.

Or one hi-fi but half the wires.

Plenty of budget left for foo cables.

If you want to use a sub, these are good value and pretty good things once set up. I use a single DD15 in my main system.

It is a propper sub, none of your Rel crap.

These look like a humungous bargain (if still available):

Cheap, normally 3K, but they are missing the expensive magnetic speaker covers for the top part. Need to be well away from walls and you will need a chunky amp, no weedy valve things.

Why don’t your grab them Paul, you must be about due a change to some ill suited speakers for your room.
