That didn’t happen to me
I had to provide an export meter reading and after that it went live, Suspect they don’t backdate anymore
Shame as I had exported 500KW up to then ![]()
Non-PV question:
Has anyone had any experience of Fuse as an energy supplier ? I’ve been with Octopus on their MoneySavingExpert fix, but that ends soon and MSE are now saying a Fuse fix might save me £200/yr over the best that Octopus are offering. I’ve liked Octopus (although they do work quite hard to grow your credit with them, which is irritating) but I’m not sure whether I like them enough to give them £200/yr.
EDIT: Sorry, forget that. The Fuse tariff is Variable and the price cap is set for a massive rise soon.
EDIT EDIT: Nope, it is a Fixed rate one. The question’s back on.
I like the lottery feel of the octopus floating rate
You know the price the day before generally, if it’s cheap fill yet boots, if it’s a bit up then coats on and telly off (visit in-laws)
generally it’s much cheaper than the fixed tariffs I fnd
I have a personality defect which means I really, really don’t. I like to fix things then forget about them until I have to waste what little time I might have left going through the whole exercise again. As now.
For what it’s worth I’ve never played the lottery voluntarily. Not once. Years (decades, now I come to think) ago we were bought a lottery ticket twice by other people as ‘a gift’. On each occasion none of our numbers came up (different numbers on the two occasions). Not one.
As well as not being keen on watching my gas meter I may also be unusually unlucky.
Not if you arrange a Pay as You Go, Direct Debit. We only ever pay what the actual charge is.
