Not sure why this is shocking news, remember reading years ago that Epstein had paid off her debts of £millions so she could avoid bankruptcy.
Seemed strange at the time why he would such a thing.
A lifetime of poor choices
Just like Savile and countless other paedophiles and abusers, Epstein knew precisely how to inveigle himself into corridors of influence and power, whilst all the while being sure to ensnare them with relationships, paper-trails and photos to use as control devices as and when required.
I understand how he used those relationships once he had gotten into those circles but I’m less clear on how he managed to get into them in the first place. At times he looks like an asset that has gotten out of control from the people who put him there.
