Feckin' Weather

Well at least I got out for a walk around the park this morning.

Hail and lightning this afternoon

All the seasons today with heavy snow falling right now. Don’t know if it’ll stick here but it will up on the moor.

Edit. Thawing fast.

First we’ve actually had on the ground here for what seems like several years. I was dreaming of a white Easter but reckon it’ll be gone by lunchtime.

Should I send a food parcel?

Pastis sounds good to me.

Just had an intense thunder shower blow through - rain so heavy at times it was blurring the view across the street, and it’s a very narrow street.

This is a screenshot of the real-time lightning map

Each white cross is a recent strike and the white discs are strikes during the most recent refreshes (one refresh a minute ?). That’s a lot of lightning.

The hollow ring in the conurbation towards the bottom left isn’t lightning. It’s the (real) Diamond Light Source particle accelerator.

Somehow managed to cram a 40 minute dog walk in-between two mini-typhoons this afty - WTF is up with the weather today? Hammering the rain down here still, and the wind’s so strong the house is tangibly vibrating!

We have had Clear Skies, Torrential Rain, Thunder and Lightening and Chicken Nugget sized Hailstones today. And now, clear skies once again overnight ready for the inevitable rain tomorrow.

The wind was so strong, my golf umbrella “exploded” on my way to work.
It turned inward after a gust, and as I turned to invert it the umbrella critically disassembled, firing metal pieces like shrapnel into my head and arm. Scratched but otherwise unscathed.
Now I know what war feels like

OK, carry on then…

Rain forecast all of next week and a hose pipe ban for the summer

Hosepipe ban will surely put the tin hat on it for Rishi. The water companies needed to use all the stored water to try to flush the sewage out of our rivers.

Thunderstorm overhead and rain like i haven’t seen before, this is going to flash flood, fuuuuck.

'orrible 'ere… So first Frisbee game of t’year is gonna happen…:sunglasses:

A clap of thunder and a sprinkling of rain here, must have been saving itself for @BobC .
