This is a bit niche, but I figured it might appeal to any Yes fans here. I collected some rare Roger Dean posters and got them professionally framed. It wasn’t so much because of the Yes connection, but just because I love his art, and it reminds me of my childhood. Anyway, these have hung in the house for a while, but the house has moved on, and they’ve mostly ended up stacked. I don’t want them to deteriorate, which they would in the garage, and I don’t have room to store them in the house.
The photos don’t do these justice at all.. they really pop in the flesh. The frames are mostly in good condition. I thought they were immaculate, but as I got them out to photograph them, I came across the odd little nick here and there, which I touched up. They aren’t visible except up close. This is the kind of thing that is very hard to value. They’re worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them. I spent about £450 in total on the framing, and then whatever the posters cost. They’re not nearly as valuable as his prints, but nonetheless it’s quite a fabulous little collection for a music room, or some such, if you dig his art. Some of these you’d never get hold of again. Others may have been reissued. But none are easy to find.
So I guess really if someone is interested, make me an offer. These are definitely collection only, one mile inside north Cornwall. Coffee and a listen to some Apogees possible!
Edit: I’ll add the measurements in a bit, but they’re not small! Sofa for scale.
