Ask the venue/ promoter, always worth a shot

Wheelchair??

If it’s in the lower venue at the Arts Club they got a bar stool for a friend of mine to sit on on the upper level. They saw his walking stick when we arrived so I’d think they would organise it in advance.

No chance. I can walk better than I can breathe.

Thanks for the recommendation. Excellent gig.

Superb musicianship but the drummer was something else.

In London Town.

Pushed for time and near Oxford street. Googled nearby safe bets and headed for Pizza Express.
It was dark. Rammed. Cosy. And she wanted £27 each (assumed it was a minimum head cover). In luck as “we have two unexpected seats free”.

And then the jazz started…

About ten minutes in we asked the question and were promptly escorted upstairs to a much more familiar setting. My god it was hot and dark. And nearly very expensive.

That’s more like it. The Underworld was ever so slightly busy last time.

Saw her in MK last night. Support act is Blair Dunlop who I enjoyed. Haven’t seen him live since his first album came out.

I’m seeing her in a couple of weeks. I didn’t know Blair Dunlop was supporting , that’s good news.

edit: my early tip would be Smote

Ooft. Might have to make that happen. Does it sell out quick?

Slift (and Neurosis and Blood Incantation) jump out for me

Not that quickly, no.

Organising another gig for July 10th next year.

We have booked;

Conor Selby, Chris Fox, and Mia Fulton.
