Bardo Pond last night were a bit flutey too. I will see what their studio stuff sounds like.

GYBE were very good. Bleak but beautiful. I was transfixed, as were most of the crowd.

There was also a pleasant lack of phonetwats filming and photographing the gig.

Guess what, we saw London Grammar in Brixton last night. Hannah has a wonderful voice, they were brilliant. We had a crap view, and standing tickets with knackered ankle wasn’t exactly a good move.

Next up we have Bugzy Malone in Kentish Town on Thursday.

Their split 12” with Carlton Melton is a good place to start. Heavy, heavy, heavy…
