Gigs I'm going to

Anyone going to African Head Charge in Islington tonight?

Currently at Brighton Dome with @JezR, Simon Mears and Murray Johnson of this parish.
Listening to
Brighton Festival Chorus
Brighton Festival Youth Choir
London Philharmonic Orchestra.

What’s the performance ?

Good to see Jeremy Corbyn in the front row

Bet it sounds fantastic

I went to see them in Folkestone last month, they were great, really good fun. They are a lot tighter than I remember them. :+1:

Duruflé - Requiem
Britten (arr. Morgan & Pochin) - Missa Brevis (world premiere)
Lotti, Cherubini, Vivaldi, J.S Bach - Crucifixus

Noice :+1:

Prolly a lot straighter these days!

It was very good with some intense moments. The Brighton festival choir were assisted by a very good youth choir and the conductor helpfully gave some context to all of the pieces. A nice event.

Bahamas tomorrow night at Islington Assembly Halls. Expecting great things.

Gregory Porter at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Friday.
Seen GP in the early days, so will be interesting to see how his show has evolved with fame.

Next Sunday ; Bad Manners in Hertford

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of fat blokes at the Bad Manners gig

What an experience, we’ve never been to a gig quite like that before

Beth Hart this Saturday at De La Warr, Bexhill

Don’t yet have a ticket but fancy seeing Field Music too, who are supporting.

Ian R thought this might be one for you.

Verity Sharp presents…Japan Sound@Spiritland with Wayward and Whizzkid.

Nice beard these days, The stripy jumper’s long gone! :grinning:
