Smith fully deserved that, to post 64 on the final day was an amazing effort.
Rory played solid golf but just couldn’t sink the birdie putts when it mattered.

played my first comp today but had to bow out on the 14th as the heat was killing me.
still came 5th out of 27 though with a stableford score of 32, with no handicap some were insisting that I should get one to avoid a sombrero next time.
With no handicap how do you get a stableford score?
And use a trolley and take an umbrella, and plenty of water in this heat
They gave me 36 for no official handicap.
Have a trolley but I get burnt after spending too long close to a lightbulb.
