Flying visit due to daughter having arrived from New York. Saw old faces from the Wam and had a catch up. The price of kit is shocking. So glad I started 40 years ago😎

We didn’t get around everything, but we really enjoyed:
Some kit really wasn’t being used to its potential unfortunately (rooms?), and some stuff sounded nasty unfortunately.
Thankfully a few were spell binding

We had a good day at the show catching up with friends from the forums.
But
The hotel were taking the piss with £10 for a pork sandwich on dry bread with gristle and fat being more present than the meat. Next time we’ll take pack up.
Most rooms were far too loud.
Most rooms I found very bass dominant.
Very few sounded good to my ears.
I like the Audio Note stuff
I liked the Solid Sounds room
I liked technics room just an honest system
I enjoyed the chasing the dragon room but that wasn’t a system to be sold it was just for demoing his vinyl.
Good day out just wish there were a few better sounding rooms.
