I would like to thank no one — not a single mortal soul, not even a passing woodland spirit — for toasting this year’s Bunfest into a damp, flickering carnival of unmitigated woe, moral slippage, and highly margerined sin,
Somewhere between the third bun and the quiet collapse of basic decency, we definitely crossed something — a threshold or a line or just… something — and now we’re all just sort of standing in it,
I can only assume you’re all as quietly, unsettlingly pleased about this outcome as I am,
So yes, here’s to next year, when the buns achieve sentience and we are finally held accountable

Hang on. I’ve just got back from my local Sainsbury’s and they’ve still got HXBs in the end of aisle bakery rack. The remaining chocolate eggs are generously marked down, but the buns ain’t.
