My recently departed FiL used to run the Nottingham Playhouse and the theater had great success when John Giulgud was in residence. However, the Theater Trust were not so enamored and essentially got shot of him, nearly ruining the theater in the process.
The staff of the theater had this foyer fly poster printed up in response.
