My good mate had the 4.5L V8 version of these for a couple of years recently! Was such a lovely thing to waft around in, sounded lovely but as you would expect, almost single digit MPG.
Did think that it needed diplomatic plates and flags on the wing thoughā¦
He even braved road trips abroad and served as a Wedding car for his Sister!

This is quite interesting - installing a turbo charged Honda Vtech engine and all new running gear. Some interesting engineering and fabrication
