Well, the burn in, I believe, has almost completed after nearly two weeks. It, the Denafrips Venus 15th, when new, and for the first few days, sounded, pretty poor. So poor in fact that on the 5th day it had only improved very slightly and I was, in my head, composing an email to Denafrips suggesting I had a faulty unit! I started having it actually playing music 24/7, rather than just being powered up, and a few days later, late last week, I really started to hear good gains. Today, after two weeks of running in, it’s sounding sublime, and, thank God (who i don’t even believe in!), it finally sounds better than the Pontus 15th I sold to buy it. I’m sure it will continue to improve over the next few days/weeks.

With correctly aligned carpet gripper rods.
Think I now have a line in “Wam hifi related in-joke bingo”.

Is burn in temperature dependent.? I wouldn’t want to under or overcook the components.
That would be “burn-out”. Probably needs a new thread. It is definitely a thing though.
