Very sad about this. John Clarke was a fixed point in my week for most of my time in Australia. A lovely man and a political satirist without peer. His work with Bryan Dawe was superb.
That’s really sad. He had a razor sharp political mind and comedy timing to die for. I used to make every effort to listen to his late morning slot on ABC radio. A very sad day for political satire

Piss-take of Senator Bob Collins after a taker disaster led to a large oil spill. This is frighteningly close to the way Collins tried to deal with it.
