Can’t see the image, you’ve sized it far too small and my eyes are far too old:rofl:!
Have you considered five way horns?
Your speakers have more downtime than all the valves amps I’ve owned, combined
And sound better
Quite possibly, for the 6 days a year they’re up and running
@mods Too easy isn’t it ?
If it ain’t broke, don’t…
Meh !
You can go off people, you know ?
So ALL you did was squirt contact cleaner in various orifices?
It’s basically solvent, so given access to oxygen it should evaporate.
Try removing all the valves for an hour or so, then reassemble and see what happens.
I honestly can’t see how using contact cleaner would result in permanent damage.
Yep, ALL I did.
Nor can I mate, but …
The only other thing I can think of is that when you pulled the valves you disturbed a dry solder joint?
Possibly
Broken valve pin?
Not that I can see
I’ve done similar - it’s likey to be unevaporated contact cleaner in the potentiometer - leave it a couple of days, and then for overkill purposes, give every hole in the pot a blast with “canned air” (like computer wonks use to dust-out the inner workings of faptops). Prolly be fine.
Unevaporated contact cleaner is my thought too. Hopefully it will clear in a few days.
