Keep your eyes peeled

Once in a lifetime chance to see a walrus in UK waters.

Incredibly rare sight

Not that rare, although he is usually found in my bed most mornings.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Nearly, I was referring to myself but as hairy, grumpy and lardy!

Is it this Walrus?

Strong, “I only went out for one” vibes to how it came to be here.

Yes, they identified it as the same animal due to some abnormal streaks on one flipper.

It travelled 450km in 6 days to get to Pembrokeshire IIRC

Normal traffic on the M4.

Could be, the “I only went out for one” certainly applies. Sometimes I used to make like a Lurcher and vanish for days. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The walrus is still present in Pembrokeshire this afternoon, roosting on rocks off Telpyn Point
