Interesting timing in announcing the split, particularly as they’ve just showcased their products, albeit mostly older models, at Munich.

I had a similar conversation, Kevin wasn’t that impressed with some of the newer products. The Kondo website reinstated M7s etc a while back having dropped them previously.

The new M7 looks very different to the traditional square box. Not that it seems to have changed much internally, I believe it still uses 12AX7 x2, 12AU7 x2, 6X4 x1 so the same as the previous version AFAIK

I’m still hoping to find an old one with 5687s. I’m waiting for one of you vinyl fans to upgrade to one with a phono stage.
