Planning a trip out with KettleJnr1.
We went to the MK one a few years back. All I can say is. Bring money. A LOT of it, and if you are chasing a particular set, get there early. There were also some great builds on display but it was about 70/30 in favour of sales.
Worth going though so enjoy it.
Finally got (some of) the Lego on display in the living room. It’s been a few years of getting around to it but now done.
So the above shelving has sparked my interest in building some of the many ‘investments’ I made in Lego (the arse falling out of Lego also helps)
So I built this ‘tales of the space age’ at the weekend paired with my existing Atari for some 80’s vibes
I also tried to fix my 3d printer for the 3rd time after fucking it up and ordering some new parts. This surprisingly succeeded and so I’ve printed some trays to wrangle the bricks while I build.
Currently a half finished Koenigsegg Jesko is underway.
Decided against going into debt for the new £450 Koenigsegg and to build some of my backlog instead.
Did the medium small F&F Supa hero car today.
A fun build. Still have a bunch more to do so the itch is being scratched.
FFS, Lego have finally produced a big Technics model of a car I’d actually want to buy, but it’s £400 and I am feeling decidedly skint at the moment ![]()

Hope it takes less than the 144 years it took to finish the actual church.
Yep, they’ve bumped the price up of all their tek suoercars by over £100 this year. Price gauging it fits all it’s worth.
Give it 6 months and resellers will have it on sale at £300 or less.
