No matter Olaf, whether plinth or stylus, a bigger hammer is always the answer!!! 
Hi Mr Chops, very impressive work. I have a Lenco Heaven TT which I love but recently it’s started making a whirring noise. The noise can be stopped by applying light pressure to the bolt/spring arrangement shown in pic.
Any ideas on cause/remedy?

Could well need a motor lube/bearing adjust… Have a look on the Lenco Heaven forum which is exhaustive on Lenco turntables.

Apologies to all but I’ve been rather busy at work and trying to finish off the GTM before my mate gets back from Ireland. Work on the Lenco will resume soon
