In fairness I’ve had that kind of “you did what?” conversation with humans. Although a human wouldn’t be as fast or as comprehensive, and they might have talked it through with colleagues before going full tonto.

Well, the doom-mongers are at it again! 
Why can’t we all just accept that a few dozen trillionaires must have ALL the money, and the rest of us must just go and die quietly in a hole somewhere? Eh? It stands to reason…
Still, perhaps when we’re extinct AI will at least take better care of the planet than we have…
