I disagree! In respect of some food items, diminutive size plays a part in the experience, because they come with an inbuilt lusty sense of desire for more, that actually adds to the experience of consuming them! Pistachios are a good example. Eat a handful at once, and it has none of the magic… An oversized pie is not as good as two smaller pies. One has spoken, the matter is settled

Fun size should = fucking huge. It doesn’t, I file this next to: Going bald, the Tory party, my cat won’t let me stroke it.
Although not pies I loved these with a cup of tea.

yes, had one today. Way too sweet for me, craggy under baked pastry
We must have different ones from the ones you’ve tried - it’s strange. The ones we have are quite tart and very fruity with a lovely well baked pastry. Maybe our bakery know how to bake them properly 
I will need to get some more and post some pics up before eating them this time.
