You can tweak it to your own tastes, it matures year on year and it beats any shop bought stuff I’ve tasted by a country mile.

I’ve just finished the last two of my pies tonight but have enough filling for a batch next year. I’m going to make more in the next few days to top up the reserves.

LOL, every time I try to make next year’s batch this year that’s what ends up happening anyhow :joy: Usually make it to around February before I’m into it. Starts as vanilla ice cream topping, then it’s full on fuck it straight from the jar by spoonfuls
