SWMBO makes them just like that light brown on top and chewy in the center. I am partial to a white fluffy meringue but only on top of a very lemony lemon meringue. My daughter says I like them to taste like Jif. How rude!

She is very fussy as in London town it appears that she only drinks the finest Champagnes, Premier Cru wines and Monkey 47? gin. I cannot compete
