I kind of lost track but there was a heroic Old Fashioned with Knob Creek rye and the dill oil Martini was extremely good.

NZ do some really interesting stuff with classic grapes. I’m not familiar with their treatment of Albarino, bit it doesn’t surprise me that they’ve created their own version.

Their treatment of Sauvignon Blanc is legendary, but the way they cultivate Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris is outstanding.

If the climate/process doesn’t elevate a grape to a greater level, they don’t bother.

Probably the most creative winemakers in the world.
