Just done that.

It was a mad expensive bottle and utterly utterly shite; so astringent that it made your cheeks feel Ike they were being sucked through a black hole.

I just fucking wish I would stop throwing my hard earned away on total fucking garbage. Every time I invest in something “decent”, in a product category I don’t know, it is a monumental disappointment.

I’m beginning to realise that I’m just a cheap everything kind of guy. About time !

Cockspur rum. We were drinking at least a bottle of Bourbon each week so my Mrs said don’t buy anymore. Since then I’ve drunk everything else we had in the house

Get yourself down to a Co-Op and buy a bottle of The Black Shiraz for £7 it’s very good for the price

Total swill.

Maybe it is corked ?

If you don’t like a wine (especially an expensive one) just put the cork in and take it back. Regardless of where you bought it, they will replace or refund - it’s pretty much standard practice in wine retail these days. :+1:

If you got it on-line, just call them. They will probably not even want the open bottle returned.
