It does feel a little strange, this is the first house I’ve lived in more than 4 years. I really thought I would be here a long time.

But looking forward to the new place,. No more walls between the neighbours, though in that respect I have been blessed. Modern houses do have decent sound insulation mostly

we are running behind on the brewdog calendar but are putting them in the fridge, and we spotted that yesterday

Beer should be made with Malt, Hops, Water, and Yeast. Add anything else and it’s no longer beer but a flavoured beverage. Trades’ Description Act need to be invoked.

Bring back the Reinheitsgebot I say.

No they aren’t. They are an integral constituent. Their influence over flavour can’t be denied (and they are many fold) but they are a basic ingredient of beer.

gruits - beer without hops. I know hops contribute to stabilisation in a beer but their primary use is for flavour.
