Fuck knows, but they are spending more money than my current project!

There are already regs and guidance, grenfell was about shaving a bit of cost, too many layers of outsourcing and a massively underfunded enforcement department - in concert with a rich white council who didnt care about poor people in an ugly tower block. They were making it pretty to hide it, not building something fit for 2020.

The problem with regs and guidance is they are only ever as good as the last public inquiry into an incident. Most industries have stopped using them as the main basis of design, aviation being the first as having planes fall out of the sky wasn’t good for business.

The inspection regime (away from FAA/Boeing) is also quite robust

I didn’t get where I am today by having a cheery outlook. Not sure where I am exactly, but a happy disposition had feck all to do with it. Or fekk all. :sunglasses:
