Don’t really need to comment on this.

When your PM is being comprehensively out-thought by fucking local radio DJs you are terminally FUBAR…

I’m tempted to say “Only Putin’s doing a worse job of running a country!”, but if you’ve read the Russia Report you’ll know he’s also heavily involved in running this cuntry, too…

To be fair to the local radio presenters they did a far better job of holding her to account than the big players; R4Today, Newsnight, Sky News etc would or could have. Partly because the local radio guys rarely have access & therefore have little to fear in losing that access. The big news outlets are so afraid of losing their precious access that they dare not be so direct.

All of those interviews are here and there are some amusing moments & very long pauses as the Truss brain cogs trundle round.

I listened to that over lunch, the response to the fracking question about getting local support clearly exposed a total lack of knowledge on the process of getting approved and the requirement for local support.
Cringeworthy.

It’s going well.

The Oxford LD connection hasn’t helped much.

He’s supposed to be very good at his job and quit two weeks before the interview because he was against it and warned them it would be a train crash.

Then again he accepted a job for a pedo, worked for amber rudd and now trussed up liz so is clearly a colossal cunt.

The ‘friendly’ press will deploy full Mud slinging mode if those stats are anything like realistic - I hope Kier can duck and keep his house in order… (Oh dear, poor kier)

The Electoral Calculus table from that Poll is a thing of unbridled joy;

Does a party with three seats need to elect a leader?

Not really, they can take it in turns.

If that table is correct the SNP will be the official opposition. :grinning:

All a bit of a nonsense though as the Lib Dems would win a fuckton of seats due to tactical voting.

The Greens have one seat and two leaders, neither of whom holds the seat.

Caroline Lucas can’t do everything!
Although when I lived in that part of Brighton and she was my MP, she had a high profile and did a lot of stuff in the constituency.
I got involved with a fair rent protest group and she turned up at a meeting unexpectedly and talked to a lot of people.
She is well respected locally

I think she’s well respected nationally - honest, hard-working, compassionate, committed, not afraid to call out the tossers in government. I suspect her party’s policies are holding her back.

Isn’t that what the Tories are doing at the moment?
