How the fuck is the energy price guarantee going to help people when their fucking stupid budget has increased mortgages by Ā£5k per year, wiping out any benefit that had.
They may have well done nothing at all to achieve the same result.
Iām hearing on the radio that this government are planning on introducing a windfall tax on the renewable energy generators while leaving the oil companies to enjoy their excessive profits.
What is the possible justification for that? Surely it should be the other way round. Do we not want the renewable generators to be able to invest to the max in more renewables? Iām hazarding a guess that the oil companies are big Tory party donors. Tories, corrupt to the core.

Although both a finance issue, energy prices and mortgages have different drivers.
Energy prices are a global issue.
The mortgage one is fully self-inflicted by the UK Government.
That came as a freebie after GBP 45b unfunded tax cuts and BoE buying GBP 65b UK bonds.

But I wouldnāt be happy if it would apply to my mortgage either.
Iām well aware they are separate and I wasnāt asking/commenting on that.
If the govt did nothing the energy prices would increase to around Ā£5k per annum
The govt implement a mini budget that caps energy costs at Ā£2.5k but fucks interest rates and increases mortgage payments for very many by Ā£5k per year.
How are they helping?

The gammon are moaning that the renewable energy prices have gone up when itās only the price of oil/gas that has increased, obviously only dirty energy is allowed to benefit from price gouging.
Yes. Its also lamentable that our system of govāt doesnāt have the appropriate checks and balances to snuff this kind of behaviour out.

I see investors in commercials developments are pulling their money. Why invest when you know that in two years max the current financial policies will be toast. In fact, Iāll be surprised if anyone invests, in anything.
