âWhen are we Europeans going to stop being scandalised about Donald Trumpâ? Probably never, but at a minimum, when he stops doing 18 scandalous things before breakfast every day. And letâs face it, thatâs only going to happen when he carks it.
From the linked Times article:
The book also revealed:
⢠Hart had to rescue a Conservative MP from a brothel in the middle of the night, after the man claimed to have been tricked by a KGB agent.
⢠A senior married MP told a journalist at an event that her âlovely dress would look better discarded on my bedroom floorâ.
⢠A Conservative adviser working in a government department was reported to the whipsâ office for attending an orgy and defecating on someoneâs head.
Lovely people.
I know itâs not the cockpunching thread, but rather than pollute it, letâs cockpunch/cuntpunt Lisa Nandy for leaping enthusiastically on to the populist/rightard bandwagon, excoriating âwokeâ culture while being too much of a hypocrite to actually use the term she meansâŚ
Fuck-off to Reform, you cunt.
Lest we forget the scarecrow-tonsured fat fuckwit is also very much Russiaâs little bitch.
Ahh, ffs
Some lovely if depressing stuff in here, lifted by a reference to The Wedding Present and their Seamonster album
In a vain attempt to lift my grim mood, I am reminded that I was a huge Wedding Present fan in the late 80s and saw them live several times in my Portsmouth days (at a venue called Basins - above the Tricorn Centre?). They were a great live band. George Best is still one of my favourite albums. Iâve never heard Seamonster though - an omission I should probably correct.
Now, back to the great depressionâŚ
Lack of faith crashing the markets would be shite for everyone but it might slow Trumplonâs roll.
I very nearly posted the same piece. I thought
Sniffing mineral rights in the air, like the smell of napalm in the morning, Trump has grabbed Ukraine by the pussy and he ainât gonna let go.
was particularly good .
UK may have to pick a side soon?.
Itâs time for NATO to announce a standing up of a response force for Ukraine.
Be interesting to see if the AFD are still excluded from the coalition they will be forming.
I think they will be this time round, but they are certainly a major force in German politics now,
Canât see any party willing to work with AfD, they will be left out of the coalition.
80% of those that voted rejected their âofferâ.
100% increase in their support.
Lies, damn lies and statistics
Watching Starmer on Kuenssberg this morning and this crisis seems to be the making of him.
He seems to be more of a statesman, more confident and growing into the job.
Badenoch giving him an easy ride in PMQs has probably helped.
