Agreed but itās apparently desirable (along with inflated lips) to people who have dysmorphia issues.
Itās not so much how they look, itās more that I donāt get why anyone would aspire to be like one of those vacuous horrors.

This is a richly-implied and unnecessary statement. None of us are in much doubt about our various decrepitudes. Mirrors donāt lieā¦ Thing is, there is nothing normal or acceptable about a young person feeling compelled to turn their lips into a baboonās arse. This level of self-mutilation results from years and years of advertising and propaganda designed to brainwash vulnerable people to believe just one image is acceptable, and that anything else is ugly and tantamount to failure.
That is fucking disgusting. In an age where we hypocritically and half-heartedly support various causes for acceptance, rights and equality, we continue to do FUCKING NOTHING about the lunacy of fashion, cosmetics, surgery, and media industries who relentlessly vomit their message that - whatever you Are, itās never good enough, and only their product can make you better.
The weak-minded, weak-willed and vulnerable fall prey to this at tragically young ages, and feel compelled to vandalise their natural beauty in pursuit of an ephemeral dream. Many are driven to despair, mental ill-health and suicide. Thatās fucking disgusting, loathsome, and insane. Sorry about the rant, this shit makes me so fucking angry.

But individually shrink wrapped spuds are, and bananas, and cucumbers etc etc etc.
Ah, thatāll (maybe) teach me to read more. As you say though, plenty of other stupid wrapping examples abound. And since itās often ābuy it over wrapped or donāt get what you want/needā thereās not much choice in the matter.
My bin is often 1/3 full for its fortnightly collection, my recycling bin is often close to full. And we get milk from the milkman (so no plastic) and veg from the farm (minimal plastic).

Electric vehicles, recycling bottles etc.
We used to deliver eggs, cream, bread, potatoes, biscuits, yogurts etcā¦ Wonder if they will ever come back. Was certainly the job I enjoyed the most.
