My mum who drove like a maniac managed to get one of the back wheels off the ground going round a roundabout coming back from a school sports day with 7 in the car

There was one of those rotting behind the REME workshop of a TA infantry regiment that I used to work at.
It used to be the COs staff car until the early 80’s and somehow never got sent for disposal when its replacement arrived. So it just got parked up out of the way and ignored for a couple of decades.
Might even still be there.

I recall my Dad borrowing a 4L Van den Plas for a family holiday (maybe also towing a borrowed caravan?). That was a serious car & had some kind of Rolls Royce connection with regard to the engine.
