It will be interesting how this compares at 45 rpm to the recent Rhino Hifi release.
Yes, the Rhino is actually a nice job (Kevin Gray / Optimal pressing) - The Mofi is a 45 RPM cut in a Stoughton G/F which may edge it overall?
45 rpm should given the MoFi the edge sound wise over the Rhino, but as we know there’s a few other factors to get right to make that happen.
Stupid me missed out on the studio sessions box which is meant to sound fantastic.
The final volume of this series was released a couple of days ago. I’m thinking you might put it on your shopping list Al? @spacehopper

Scratching my head on this one - source is 16/44 digital and then they’re going to press it on 45 rpm 
and none of the National recordings actually sound up to much in the first place, so unless MFSL have some kind of witchcraft voodoo I still cant imagine it being brilliant
It depends I suppose whether you think its poor recording or weak mastering (or both) that is responsible for it sounding a bit cack.
I am happy to risk your £100 finding out 
I suspect it is the recordings, while starting with red book CD master doesnt have me rushing for my wallet
I wouldn’t risk £30 let alone £100. Mobile Fidelity seem to have shorter memories than their customers
A to D when necessary, but not D to A as a rule of thumb.
Annoyingly these Cherry Red compilations are always really well curated
