Quick heads-up in case anyone’s interested, 'cos these are with Freefallrob in Derbs until Sunday:
Very compact floorstanders with Neat’s famed area-drive (~ribbon) tweeter and the fantastic mid-bass from the much spendier Ultimatum range. Notably good match with Naim, Exposure and Sonneteer, but work well with anything that can swing a bit of current. Light Oak veneer. No boxes, but I’ve got shitloads of bubblewrap here.
This pair are scruffy round the back - taken a knock to one of the plinths and a bit of cabinet nibble: neither visible from the front. Functionality unaffected obviously.
They were £1500 new, £325 if you can collect from Derbs or Lincs.
They are indeed lovely, I’ve really enjoyed my time with them, unfortunately the lady of the house is wearing my trousers and they don’t match our ‘decor’.
