My first AA BO today and what a wonderful way to start. Nick was a fantastic host and he put on a great spread of food with bacon butties early on and a bbq later in the afternoon. He clearly knows his target group well. It was great for me to meet several new faces and I was made to feel very welcome by everyone involved. I must admit that I probably spent more time than I should listening to Nick’s main system which was utterly superb and a total joy to listen to. A big thanks again for the effort he made and willingness to allow us all into his home for a very memorable day.

Back at 11.30 pm ..was worth the long travel to have Nicks hospitality…it was good catching up and being waited on from Nicks barbecue skills tremendous spiced sausage and beef burgers mmm..Greggs blueberry cake would have held its own on Masterchef and Dave excelled with his scones and homemade jam also cheers Pete for the cup cakes as well ..Nicks main music system was gob smacking good nothing strained it Teskey Brothers live felt you were at the concert ….Thanks for being an excellent host and yourselves who were there for the great company …A special thanks for my pressie Nick ..Bed time now nite nite

Was brill just sitting on the patio in the sunshine with that wonderful view, just gassing with the usual meatmen.
Didn’t get much of a chance to listen to the main system as @Jailbreaker was monopolising my spot for most of the day. In fact the only way I could shift him was to walk in and announce the burgers were ready*
I reckon you have it sounding sublime. The bass is much better now you’ve moved the Acapellas back a foot or so. The soundstaging is epic and the whole thing is so smooth and refined. God, I miss those tweeters…

I must send my apologies due to chemo side effects. However by the looks of things, I missed a good one thanks Nick for providing an excellent Bake Off as usual

Fab day! Super nice to see folks who I haven’t seen for a looong time. Was great to sit out in the sun and chat. Food was awesome, thanks to Nick for the great BBQ and everyone who brought bits and bobs! (That cake of Gregg’s was amazing)
