Don’t look now was directed by Nicolas Roeg iirc.

With regard to David Lynch, I’d be expecting an incomprehensible plot and a murderous dwarf. It was more of a surprise with Don’t Look Now.

Yes, of course. Derp.

Roeg. Walkabout, Man Who Fell To Earth etc :+1:.

Ah, poo.

The best musician of the bunch, and they were all really good musicians.
I know there’s no “afterlife”, but I want to think they’re all jamming together somewhere

I wonder who started that rumour, whether they are still alive, and if so, what they think of it and themselves now?

Mike Ratledge, Soft Machine, 91.

Terrible news

Was never a big jam fan,but they did some brilliant songs
A friend who was massively into them would follow their tours, and he mentioned that quite a few times they would let fans in to hear the sound check in the afternoon.

When you think they were only really known from 77-82,they certainly packed a lot in,and finished on a high.

Great band and my era, but brief as you say Stu - Weller was a creative spirit who had to move on but what a drummer Rick Buckler was
