Yep, kinda felt the recent documentary was appreciation for him before he went. A real shame we didn’t get more of his best work before other things took over, a visionary talent.

It’s sad but I’ve never really got the hullaboo , mostly found his music dull? The catalogue has not been investigated at any great length, point me in the right direction

Well, I didn’t know anything about him, he was under my radar.

Not Sly Stone or Brian Wilson levels of fame, but for the few EBM / industrial folk out there, Douglas McCarthy died yesterday.

A few months older than me, he had struggled with alcoholism for years.
