Awesome.

Looks like the lens choice / investment was a good one.
Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

Besides the resort where else did you get to on Zanzibar?

Did you get to look around Dar es Salaam?

We had an evening and morning in Stonetown. We booked a guide to take us around as our hotel was in the middle of the windy streets. Seemed pretty safe, but very easy to get lost. Stonetown at night during Eid al Haj (sp) was a bit mad. Had Zanzibar pizza at Forodhani gardens. Quite good.

Needed more zoom for a few things. Will try and dig a couple of pics out.

This was four lions killing a buffalo. Couldn’t get near enough.

From the same point, but another direction there was a rhino.

From Mrs B’s bridge camera that had a bit more zoom.

No, she was just braver than you.

Think I’d stick with the lower magnification, personally :+1:

@Wayward would still reckon that was a bit overcooked.

what zoom did you take?

Sigma 50-500 OS. And a Nikon 18-200. Used a Nikon D5200 and a D3200.
