Pick me a Scooby (that went RONG) including exploration into Dacia & giving up

Yeah, I did everything right, that engine was supposed to be the reliable one.

Got unlucky.

Really liked this car.

Sometimes if you drive through really deep water the engine gets destroyed.

Bad luck Rob. Total nightmare. You’ve been really unlucky.

What are you thinking of getting to replace it?

Rob showed me some pictures yesterday.
An amazing amount of room in the back.

I have a friend who has a Dacia Duster and he loves it. Ten grand for a new car. Ok it doesn’t have loads of gadgets, but it’s less than half the price of any random small German car. What’s not to like?

Car market is very weird just now. I’m 3 years into a 4 year pcp on my mini. 6 months ago I had 2k equity. Yesterday that was over £4K!! New prices havent changed but I’ve got to wait til may to get my new car. Nearly new are more expensive than new if you need it now…. May not be so bad for all brands but watch out

The Ghia version of the Duster may be your only option by then.

It’s the 1.5 turbo diesel Prestige model.

It has a big boot and a steering wheel and everything.

I don’t understand, it has a leather steering wheel, what more could you aspire too?

You tell him Rob.
It’s even got seats. :ok_hand:

Proof of seats.

Some in the back too.

Two families here have a Duster - which makes it the second most popular car, after Land Rovers - as long as you discount quad bikes

They both love them, one is on his second Dacia.

I’m presuming, (hoping), it’s got doors on the drivers side?
P.S. Liking the finest Romanian leather on the steering wheel. Nice.

We have one. It may be cheap but it’s decent for the price. And far better than the Kia we had before

It’s white. What’s not to like. Looks nice Rob and it’s brand new. Cars are money pits going for the best value makes good sense.

It has a big hole in the back into which many things are put.

Bit of a slippery slope though.
One day he might reach the Marianas trench like depths of Hyundai ownership.
