I had a K24 Accord a few years ago, it’s the only car I genuinely regret selling, bullet proof drive chain and was very happy to rev (in fairness it was quite quick as well)
I have a 2016 1.8 petrol auto Civic for commuting at the moment, that’s also bulletproof but slow and very noisy if you need to accelerate.
No problem with revving an engine (I’ve had a 2 stroke 125 after all) but I expect some appropriate forward motion
My current mini auto is great but it has the DSG style box and the previous auto was nowhere near as good
Beware DSG boxes, they’re great, but if they go working, may well cost a fortune to repair. Thyre complicated beasts and it’ll be a main dealer or specialist job. For a runaround, you’re better off with something manual, or a traditional slusher auto.
Hence why I’m willing to get panned by depreciation and buy new with a manufacturers warranty
Lexus LS430, auto, reliable and under budget
She struggles to park a Honda jazz!
Pah, there’s just no pleasing some folk
The plebs will be only too pleased to make room for her in a Lexus
She could make her own room in a Lexus
