Sorry guys, this is very last minute I know, but I’m going to have to drop out.
I’ve been struggling since the start of last December (!) with a residual cough following a cold. Bloody annoying but at least not a problem for anyone else, except for the noise.
The cough seemed to flare up last weekend, adding a swollen and sore throat too. Painful. The pain’s woken me up for the last couple of nights and I now strongly suspect this is a new live infection sitting on top of the old cough. I don’t have much of a snotty nose, so maybe it’s RSV What winter bug do I have? Know the signs and symptoms – UK Health Security Agency ?
Sadly I don’t feel up to the drive to Pichbeck, and even if I did I wouldn’t want to share my disease with you lot. So I’m going to have to give this one a miss 
.
Shame, as I know from visits in the past that Paul’s a great host and you are all good company. Have fun !
