Smoked two fillets of salmon yesterday when I did my steak.
Today I made potato dauphinoise.
Anyone who hasn’t yet sampled salmon on the smoke needs to do so. It’s fucking amazing.

Great Orme looking good there Ólan. Are you on a pleasure boat trip from Rhyl?
Off topic but Rhyl always reminds me of a near death experience on a ride at Rhyl funfair as a 7 or 8 year old. I slipped under the rail on a top hat type ride and my mum had to use her feet to stop me sliding off. I can still visualise it 45 years later.
Suspect I was under age and hight for the ride.
Great Orme reminds me of boring trips to North Wales with the Tram being the most exciting bit.
Back on topic and still in Wales, currently munching through some oat cakes and this nice smelly cheese from Waitrose.
Rhyl in itself is a near death experience these days.
Llandudno and the Great Orme actually have great memories for me, when along with Mrs 998 Mk1, we used to blast off there, on my various Kawasaki ZXR750s, for weekends of constant shagging and, erm shagging…
There was obviously food involved, but it basically served as fuel for the shagging.
Rhyl is not a shaggers paradise.
Its…,
Read that along to Coolio’s ditty.
Stevie’s first, of course
VB
But Coolio is more apt for the mean streets of Rhyl. And Michelle Pfeiffer.
Bob marleys pimpers paradise would work too
I’d like to try that brand.
On offer in the Co-Op at the moment for £3 a tub.
It’s seriously smooth and way better than Hagen das and Ben and Jerrys.
Would like to try the standard vanilla flavour but this is the only one the supermarkets near me seem to stock.
You could, you know, just order it from their online shop.
Amazon?
I made paneer using an actual cheese cloth rather than one of the muslin cloths bought for the baby
Bloody muslins coming over here…
Mmmmm breakfast.
