Lunch in Daly’s Wine Bar Essex St That London.

Both had the Pie of the Day which was brisket and veg in the most epic crust. Served with well seasoned kale and pomme purée. The gravy was a tad salty but meaty and rich.


Chunky thick sirloin, chips, spinach, asparagus done on the griddle after the steak, peppercorn sauce to cover up how rare it is, mushrooms and onion roasted until getting brown. Couldn’t even think of having any of the cheesecake I bought.


Give it an hour.

I had something Korean called Nongshim Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup noodle soup for my tea. It cost no pounds and fucking seventy five pence. It was nice.


Did it have much Shin in it ?
