Beef short ribs (coated in Le Cochon Pendu beef rub and slow roasted for 5 hours) saute new pots and misc plant matter.

first decent roast chicken dish for some weeks after we finally got our 20 year old cooker repaired !!

Mass catered roast beef, soft yorkies, deep fried “roasties”, squishy carrots and grey broccoli :pensive:

The worst sin was that there was no alcohol. Family functions when the family are Salvation Army are not the greatest affairs. Still, the elderly Strayans loved it :+1:

I made this (added ajwain seeds, didn’t have black salt) because a chickpea curry recipe asked for it. It’s fucking brilliant on everything. Had it sprinkled on carrots as a snack then on some nuts.

www make our own - use it sprinkled on cucumber raita. Also sprinkle on a dressed (sherry vinegar olive oil) chopped salad.

Lastly and my fav, sprinkle on lightly cooked masala chicken livers

40 day dry aged Bone in Sirloin. A bit thin but Narelle was economising :roll_eyes:


Served with Tzadziki, potato salad, and home grown slaw (various home grown veg).

Japanese green tea flavour KitKat. Didn’t really taste of much (like green tea generally) but then it also wasn’t as horrific as it could have been.

This, however, I am staying well clear of…
