Pea and ham soup made with the gammon stock from Sunday, the leftover ham and a shed load of peas.
That looks better than the cherry pie thing I had for pudding there.
Some sort of Oreo, white chocolate thing. Bloody ridiculous! Feel guilty now…
Brisket is good!
Amazing coleslaw. The best I’ve had.
Plates though Jim and I remember a bit of floorboard.
Not exactly eating it now, but just had half a pig delivered. If it’s anything like the last one, it will be epic.
Needless to say, it’s local. It was trotting around a field just up the road a few days ago.
How far do they have to go to be slaughtered ? I guess the answer is either ‘no distance at all’ or ‘all the way to mainland Scotland’.

Just over to Mainland Shetland. The guy who slaughters them also butchers them. When we got the last one, we estimated that it was about the same price (£150) as buying similar cuts from *Tesco, but the quality and taste is on a different planet.
*We only buy meat for the dogs from Tesco. There’s a very good butcher in Lerwick.
I did wonder if you were going to say “There are no police on Fetlar.” .

Did that come from Turkey by chance?
Nah, that’s the ‘under the counter’ stuff
Sorry, we’re not going to believe you unless we see pics of the food before…could of been anything on those plates
Looks like the same plate to me.
