Xmas pudding. Nobody else likes it, so I thought Iā€™d best get started on it.

Other people who might like it were also not invited. Almost a theme, really.

Would that be a thereā€™s-Xmas-pudding-so-Iā€™d-better-make-sure-I-only-invite-people-who-donā€™t-like-it type situation ? With a clear motive ? Do you know lots of people who donā€™t like sherry trifle I could invite round here ?

You only had the one packet Jim. :grinning:

When the Ocado van arrives we shall be cooking from Asmas book tonight. Lamb shanks and a whole roasted cauliflower

The usual Saturday night curry didnā€™t happen last night, for not feeling well reasons, so itā€™s chicken dopiaza tonight instead.

Fantastic aromas spreading from the kitchen!

Iā€™ll get a pic this time.

Lamb shank curry with spinach from Asmaā€™s cookbook. Delicious but her timings are way out. Luckily I realised 2 hours was no where long enough for shanks - 3.5 hours was perfect

the accompanying whole cauliflower wasnā€™t as successful, again her timings were out, this time over cooked, but i wasnā€™t overly keen on the Yoghurt based sauce.
